Pets lack the ability to control pain on their own. They can’t simply take a few aspirin or apply an icepack to an area of their body that hurts. As such, they rely on us – their loving owners and health care providers – to recognize and address pain on their behalf.

At Aloha Animal Hospital, we believe that every pet deserves the right to enjoy a pain-free existence. That’s why we’re pleased to offer professional pain management as part of our comprehensive list of services. We want to help your loved one live a happier, more comfortable life.

Our approach to pain management is incredibly thorough, which makes it highly effective. We recognize that many aspects of medical care may cause discomfort to our patients, whether it be an injection or a surgical procedure. To that end, we aim to not simply control pain as it is happening, but to prevent that pain from occurring in the first place. For medical procedures, we utilize pain control medication which has been proven to be both safe and highly effective. This helps us keep our animal friends comfortable and pain-free.

We also understand that there are many other types of pain. For instance, pain that is associated with chronic ailments, post-surgical or injury recovery and, of course, the natural aging process. For this type of discomfort, we use a number of different techniques, based on the situation. Every case is handled on an individual basis, which helps us achieve the best possible results for each patient.
